About us

Coaching built on more than a hitting partner

Founded and led by Hadi Darvishomrani, coaching across four Sydney courts.

Sydney Tennis School exists because there's a difference between someone who can feed you balls and someone who can change how you play. Every coach here has come through serious competitive tennis, and several have taken juniors to national rankings — in Australia and overseas.

That shows up in how sessions are built. Kids move through the Tennis Hot Shots stages on courts and balls sized to them, so they rally properly instead of chasing full-speed balls around a full-size court. Adults get grouped honestly by level, not by whoever turned up. And nobody gets sold a term before they've had a session for free.

Five coaches, one philosophy

Technical precision built on sports psychology — from a first Hot Shots session to competitive match play.

Hadi
Founder & Head Coach

Hadi founded Sydney Tennis School and leads its coaching at Mosman, East Killara and North Ryde. He works with players of every age and ability — from a four-year-old's first Hot Shots session through to juniors chasing a national ranking. His coaching pairs technical precision with sports psychology and long-term player development, which in practice means building a session around how a player learns, not only around how their forehand looks. He also plans the school's programs and mentors its coaches.

He has coached nationally ranked Australian juniors including Myron Papadimitriou, Rianna Alame and Gabby Gregg, and coached players in Iran before moving to Australia. He has written professional publications on tennis and sport, served as Technical Director for the Iran Tennis Federation's Tennis Hot Shots introductory film, and ran Level 1 coaching courses and workshops as both organiser and instructor.

Haami
Junior & Competitive Coach

Haami has been a head coach since 2006, when he founded his own academy in Tehran and began taking players from a first lesson through to national level. Over that time he developed multiple juniors to top-five national rankings across the Under 10, Under 12 and Under 14 age groups, and was appointed National Team Head Coach at Under 12.

He coaches juniors and competitive players, and is the coach to ask for if your child is coming out of Green stage and wants to take matchplay seriously.
